IBX Nail Strengthening and Repair
A professional strengthening treatment for weak, peeling or damaged nails that works within the nail plate rather than sitting on top of it.
About IBX Nail Treatments
Unlike polish or surface strengtheners, IBX works within the nail plate to help fuse weakened layers together. It is designed for nails that peel, split, flake or struggle to grow well, and is often chosen by guests whose nails need genuine support rather than just a cosmetic finish.
IBX can be booked on its own or added to selected manicure treatments. It is particularly useful when nails feel compromised after damage, overexposure to water, repeated product wear or simply because they are naturally weak and flexible.

Why guests choose IBX
- To help reduce peeling, flaking and splitting
- To support healthier natural nail growth over time
- To strengthen nails that feel thin, weak or overly flexible
- To add internal support beneath gel polish
- To help restore nails after damage or prolonged product wear
How often should I book?
IBX usually works best as a course to begin with rather than a one-off. Depending on the condition of the nails, weekly treatments for the first 3 to 5 sessions are often recommended, followed by maintenance at your normal manicure interval.
Your therapist can advise what makes the most sense based on the current condition of your nails and what you are trying to improve.
Aftercare
Apply Dadi’Oil daily to keep the nails flexible and hydrated. Avoid picking or peeling any colour, keep nails at a sensible length during recovery, and wear gloves for cleaning and washing up where possible.
If your nails have been damaged, consistency matters more than quick fixes. IBX works best when supported by proper aftercare and regular appointments.
Frequently asked questions
How does IBX work?
IBX penetrates the nail plate and helps reinforce it from within, rather than sitting on the surface like a polish or topcoat.
Who is IBX suitable for?
It is a strong option for guests with peeling, splitting, weak or damaged nails, and for those whose nails struggle to grow well on their own.
Can I have IBX under gel polish?
Yes. IBX can be used beneath gel polish to provide internal support while still allowing you to wear colour.
Will IBX make my nails thicker?
No. IBX strengthens internally but does not bulk out the nail surface in the way an overlay does.
Can I book IBX if I already have product on my nails?
That depends on what is currently on the nails. If you are unsure, contact us before booking so we can advise properly.
Is IBX the same as BIAB?
No. IBX works within the nail plate to strengthen it internally. BIAB is a structured overlay treatment that sits on the nail to provide support and durability from the outside.
