Male Waxing in Croydon at Queen B
Every male waxing appointment at Queen B begins with a consultation. We assess your skin, your hair type and the areas you want treated before we start, then carry out the treatment in a private room using Perron Rigot wax — a professional-grade French wax established in 1936, renowned for creating the first low-temperature, non-strip hard wax. It grips coarse male hair without pulling the skin, giving a cleaner removal and better comfort.
- Consultation-led approach tailored to your skin and hair type
- Private treatment room for every appointment
- Perron Rigot professional wax for coarse male hair
- No double-dipping, fresh spatulas and gloves for all treatments
From intimate waxing to chest, back and full body treatments, whether you call it male waxing or men’s waxing, the standard is the same. New to waxing? We explain exactly what is involved before we begin, so you know what to expect and how to prepare properly.
Male waxing usually takes longer than female waxing because male hair is typically coarser, denser and more deeply rooted. That means more product, more control and more time to achieve a clean finish properly.
Please allow at least 3 weeks’ regrowth after shaving before booking. Hair that is too short will not remove cleanly and can compromise the finish.

Male waxing prices
Every treatment, time and price in one place. Use the filters below to narrow the menu.
Prices reflect treatment time, hair density, product use and the extra precision needed for coarse male hair. That is why some male waxing services take longer and are priced differently to equivalent female waxing treatments.
Why we use Perron Rigot
Perron Rigot is a premium French wax manufacturer established in 1936, renowned for creating the first low-temperature, non-strip hard wax. Their formulations grip the hair without pulling the skin, which reduces discomfort and gives a cleaner finish, especially on sensitive areas. We use their full range — hot wax for intimate and facial treatments where precision matters, and strip wax for larger body areas where speed and coverage are needed. The wax we choose depends on the area being treated, your skin type and the condition of the hair.

Specialist waxing services
As well as standard male waxing treatments, Queen B offers specialist waxing services that require additional care, experience and sensitivity.
- Trans waxing — carried out with full sensitivity and professionalism in a completely private environment. We follow your
lead on terminology and preferences throughout. - Pre-competition waxing — full body or targeted waxing for bodybuilders, swimmers, cyclists and athletes preparing
for competition. Timed to your event date on request. - Virgin waxing — first-time waxing on an area that has never been waxed before.
We take extra time on consultation and technique to ensure the best possible first experience.
Before your appointment
- Hair should be at least 6–7 mm long — roughly 3 weeks of growth after shaving.
- Exfoliate gently 24–48 hours before, not on the day.
- Avoid heavy lotions, fake tan and heat treatments beforehand.
- Pause strong actives and retinoids on the area for at least a week before.
- Tell us about any medications, recent peels, laser treatments or skin conditions before we begin.
Male waxing FAQs
Does male waxing hurt?
There is brief discomfort when the wax is removed, but proper technique and the right wax make a significant difference. Most guests say it is far more manageable than they expected, particularly from the second appointment onwards as hair regrows finer.
How long do results last?
Most guests stay smooth for 3–5 weeks depending on the area and individual growth cycle. Regular waxing typically leads to finer, softer regrowth over time which also makes each subsequent appointment quicker and more comfortable.
How often should I get waxed?
Most guests book every 4–6 weeks for consistent results. Regular waxing weakens the hair follicle over time, meaning regrowth becomes finer and sparser with each appointment. Your therapist will advise on the best interval for your hair growth cycle.
How long should my hair be before waxing?
Hair should be around 6–7 mm long, which is usually about 3 weeks of growth after shaving. If hair is too short the wax cannot grip properly and the result will be patchy. If you are unsure, book anyway and we will assess on the day.
Why is male waxing more expensive than female waxing?
Male waxing usually takes longer because male hair is often coarser, denser and more deeply rooted. That means more product, more detailed application and more time to remove the hair cleanly without rushing. The pricing reflects treatment time, technique and comfort, not inflated pricing for the sake of it.
Is male intimate waxing safe?
Yes — when it is carried out properly by trained professionals using the correct wax, technique and hygiene standards. At Queen B, intimate waxing is performed in a private treatment room using professional products, fresh spatulas, gloves and strict hygiene protocols throughout.
What is the difference between a Brazilian and a Hollywood for men?
A Hollywood removes all hair from the intimate area for a completely smooth finish. A Brazilian removes most hair but leaves some at the front. If you want everything gone, book Hollywood. If you prefer a tidier look without full removal, Brazilian is the better choice.
What does a male Hollywood wax include?
A male Hollywood wax removes all hair from the intimate area — front, shaft, scrotum and between the buttocks. It is the most thorough intimate waxing option and leaves a completely smooth finish from front to back.
Do you use hot wax or strip wax?
Both. We use Perron Rigot hot wax for intimate and facial treatments where precision and comfort matter most, and strip wax for larger body areas such as chest, back and legs. The wax type is selected based on the area, your skin and the condition of the hair.
Is waxing better than laser for men?
They serve different purposes. Waxing gives immediate results in a single appointment and works on all hair colours and skin types. Laser targets the follicle for long-term reduction but requires multiple sessions, works best on darker hair and involves a higher upfront cost. Many guests use waxing as their primary method and some combine both approaches for different areas.
Do you offer male intimate waxing in Croydon?
Yes. We offer Hollywood, Brazilian, penis and sac, penis sac and crack, butt crack, bum cheeks and crack and perineum waxing. All intimate treatments are carried out in a private treatment room.
Do you offer trans waxing?
Yes. Trans and non-binary guests are welcome at Queen B and treated with exactly the same professionalism and care as every other guest. Every appointment takes place in a completely private treatment room and your therapist will follow your lead on terminology, preferences and how you want the appointment to proceed. There is no separate booking category — simply book the treatment or treatments that cover the areas you want waxed. If you have any questions before booking, you are welcome to contact us directly and we will make sure everything is arranged correctly before your visit.
Can I combine treatments in one appointment?
Yes. Many guests combine chest and back, or add intimate waxing onto a body treatment. Our packages are designed for this — see the pricing table for common combinations, or book a Full Body option if you want everything covered.
Which full body option should I book?
Full Body Wax if you want neck-down only. Full Body Wax + Face adds eyebrows, ears and nostrils. Full Body Wax + Intimate adds Hollywood waxing. Full Body Wax + Face and Intimate includes everything. Choose based on what you want covered and check the pricing table for times and prices.
Can I book a full body wax without intimate or face waxing?
Yes. Full Body Wax covers everything from the neck down, excluding face and intimate areas. You can then add face, intimate or both as separate upgrades. Each option is listed clearly in the pricing table so you can see exactly what is included before you book.
What should I avoid after waxing?
Avoid gym sessions, swimming, saunas, hot baths, steam and tight clothing for 24–48 hours. This is especially important after intimate waxing where the skin is more sensitive. Gentle exfoliation from day three onwards helps prevent ingrown hairs.
Can I have waxing if I use retinoids or acne medication?
Please tell us before treatment begins. Some topical retinoids and oral medications like isotretinoin can thin or sensitise the skin to the point where waxing may cause lifting or damage. In those cases we will postpone the treatment and advise when it is safe to rebook. We would always rather delay than risk your skin.
